2026 BNHRC Board of Directors Nominations 

The following nominations will be presented for member voting on Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at 11:45 am CST. Active BNHRC members will receive an email with more information about the voting process and are encouraged to attend the November chapter meeting to cast their vote.

President - Nicole Butler

Nicole has 23 years’ experience leading human resources operations and is currently serving as Executive Employee Relations for the Illinois Soybean Association (ISA). Nicole leads and directs all routine functions of the human resources programs and ISA. During her time in serving in human resources, she has worked in mental health, insurance, manufacturing, and has specialized in HR department startups. Nicole relocated to Normal, IL in 2021 and joined BNHRC in early 2022. Nicole has her Professional Certification in Human Resources Management (SHRM-CP), Strategic HR Business Partner Certification (sHRBP) and her SHRM Psych-HUB certification. Nicole is looking forward to getting more involved with helping others and serving the community.

Past-President - Tami Foley

Tami is the Executive Director of Mid Central Community Action, Inc. She has over 18 years of experience in Human Resources and Organizational Compliance. Leaving corporate America to join the non-profit sector in 2015, she has since earned her SHRM-CP (Society of Human Resources Management Certified Professional) and CNED (Certified Non-Profit Executive Director). She has worked with all departments at MCCA to ensure compliance with all grant regulations. Tami encourages and assists leadership and staff towards their professional development goals. She is on the WIOA board, Emergency Food & Shelter Program board, Illinois Community Action Development Corporation board, the ISU Social Workers Advisory Board, is a member of Healthy Eating Active Lifestyles, the Invest Health team, and is a member of MCAA’s Board Executive Committee. In her free time, she is at the baseball or football fields cheering on her son and grandson.


Treasurer & Workforce Development Director - Sam Lewis

Sam and his wife Terri are the owners of Pridestaff, a staffing and recruiting agency located in Bloomington-Normal. He is also an HR consultant for small businesses. In his career Sam has been an HR manager, a factory manager, a GM, and the VP of Engineering with responsibility for eight manufacturing plants across the U.S. He has been in leadership and management roles for over 30 years. Sam is a Certified Staffing Professional (CSP) through the American Staffing association. He is very active in the community. He serves on the board of directors for the Workforce Investment Act for the State of Illinois. He is a curriculum advisor for Heartland Community College. He is also a board member for Lifelong Access. Sam began serving on the BNHRC Board in 2012 as a Membership Co-Chair.


Secretary - Jayme Davis

Jayme is an HR Generalist with the Illinois Network of Child Care Resource and Referral Agencies (INCCRRA). She began her career in the veterinary field, where she was promoted to HR Manager of a local clinic, sparking her passion for Human Resources. Transitioning from private practice to the non-profit sector, Jayme brings four years of HR experience and a diverse background that blends science, people, and organizational development.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in liberal arts with concentrations in Biopsychology and Classics (Ancient Greek and Roman History) and recently earned a second bachelor’s degree in human resource management. A lifelong learner, Jayme is currently pursuing her HRCI certification to further advance her professional expertise.

In her free time, Jayme enjoys traveling the world with her husband and two sons. She is also an avid runner, taekwondo enthusiast, and reader.


Co-Membership Director - Katie Rife

Katie is an employee benefits consultant at Cottingham & Butler working with and supporting HR professionals daily on recruiting, compliance, cost containment & benefits strategy.  She has degrees from ISU in Politics, Psychology & Business and has worked in the employee benefits field for nearly 10 years.  In addition to BNHRC, she is also an active member of the Bloomington-Normal Sunrise Rotary club and the McLean County Chamber of Commerce and volunteers for many local non-profits.  Katie also loves to play golf and travel.


Co-Membership Director - Mandi Simeone

Mandi Simeone is the CEO and Founder of HR 2 People, LLC, a fractional HR consulting firm that helps small and mid-sized businesses improve people operations, culture, and compliance. With over 20 years of experience in human resources, operations, and executive leadership, she specializes in multi-state compliance, leadership coaching, organizational design, and HR systems implementation. Previously a Vice President of Human Resources, Mandi holds an MBA and is preparing for the SHRM-SCP certification. She is also actively involved in community boards focused on business growth and workforce development. Outside of work, she enjoys outdoor activities with her family and is dedicated to fostering people-centered leadership for organizational success. 


Certification Director - Vikki Falls

Vikki has been part of the Bloomington-Normal community for over 30 years and currently holds the role of VP of Human Resources at The Baby Fold.  Prior to joining The Baby Fold, Vikki spent 13 years as the Managing Director for a local medical services company.  In this role, she demonstrated leadership in recruiting, hiring, employee relations, payroll, and benefits, while providing direct oversight for the organizational and financial direction of multiple subsidiaries.  Vikki’s background also includes time at State Farm in Underwriting, Agency, and Training/Development.  She earned a Master’s in Organizational Leadership from Lincoln College in 2021 after a 30-year school break from earning her Bachelor’s degree in Speech Communication from the University of Illinois in 1990. 


College Relations Director - Molly Yerke

Before joining McLean County Unit District No. 5, Molly Yerke graduated from Northern IL University with a degree in psychology and obtaining her PHR certification. Molly has been a member of BNHRC for two years. In her current role as an HR generalist, she oversees compliance and workers’ compensation. She has a passion for HR and education, which makes working for Unit 5 so rewarding. In her free time she enjoys kickboxing, strength training, and curling up on the couch with a good book and her two dogs.


Communications Director & Central Illinois HR Conference Chair - Taylor Ingram

Taylor is currently an HR Business Partner Consultant at COUNTRY Financial and Illinois Farm Bureau. Taylor has worked at COUNTRY and IFB for over 10 years in a variety of HR functions including Talent Development, Employee Relations, Talent Acquisition (including College Recruiting), and HR Project Management/Change Management. Taylor earned a bachelor's degree in communications with a minor in Business in 2013 from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She obtained her SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification in 2018. Taylor began involvement with BNHRC while still in college as a COUNTRY intern and has been a BNHRC member since 2014. She joined the BNHRC Board of Directors in 2016 and has previously served in Communications, Marketing, Membership, President, Past-President, SHRM Foundation, Social Media, and Technology positions. Taylor has also served as the CIHR Conference Committee Chair and CIHR Conference SHRM Chapter Lead since 2023.


Diversity Director & SHRM Foundation Director - Alina Evans

Alina is the Vice President of Operations and Compliance at YWCA McLean County. She has over 20 years of experience in operations, organizational management, and business continuity across the media, insurance, and healthcare industries. Since joining the nonprofit sector, Alina has leveraged her expertise to strengthen operational efficiency, ensure regulatory compliance, and support strategic growth. She holds a BS in Philology and a BS in Business Administration with a focus on Management, and is a FEMA-certified Business Continuity Practitioner and SCORE-certified business mentor, providing guidance and consulting to staff and leadership on operational best practices and sustainability planning. In her free time, she enjoys mentoring others, creating educational opportunities, cherishing family time, and engaging with her community.


Governmental Affairs Director - Andee Radliff

Andee has been a dedicated member of the Bloomington-Normal community for over 25 years and currently serves as the Assistant Director for Employer Engagement in Career Services at Illinois State University.  Since 2001, she has built a well-rounded career in both Human Resources and Career Services, with experience in recruitment, training, employee relations, talent development, public relations, marketing, and career development.  At ISU, Andee has held several key roles, including Talent Management Director, Benefits Officer, and Employment Consultant.  A proud Redbird, she holds degrees in Psychology, Sociology, and Women’s & Gender Studies from Illinois State University.  She is currently pursuing her master’s degree in Addictions Studies at Governors State University, further deepening her expertise in support and advocacy.  Andee has been an active member of the BNHRC since 2008 and has enthusiastically served in numerous board roles, including President, Membership Director, Director of Governmental Affairs, Web Director, Student SHRM Chapter Liaison, and Secretary.


Programming Director - Sarah Nix

Sarah has worked in the Human Resources profession for over 10 years.  She has earned a SPHR certification and a master's degree in public administration from the University of North Carolina Wilmington. With extensive experience in the public sector, manufacturing, and private business, Sarah brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role. She has been a resident of Bloomington-Normal for seven years, where she lives with her husband, who works at Illinois State University, and their son, who attends Towanda Elementary School.


Programming Co-Chair - Liz Fenger

Liz has been a Senior HR Analyst with The Baby Fold and BNHRC member since 2022. She earned her SHRM-CP in 2023 and is currently pursuing a certificate as a Compensation Analyst through The ERI. Her career background includes management and recruiting roles in pet hospitality and social services. Ms. Fenger has an educational background in psychology, earning her BA in Psychology from Illinois Wesleyan University, MS in Industrial/Organizational Psychology with concentration in quantitative methods from ISU, and completing MA coursework in Counseling Psychology at Adler University. She is particularly interested in the HR areas of talent management, total rewards, and compensation.  Ms. Fenger is also an independent contractor for family court services in McLean County and surrounding areas and became a small business owner in 2025. Outside of work, Ms. Fenger enjoys spending time with her growing family.


Programming Co-Chair - Roxanne Reed

Roxanne has been serving in Human Resources and Operations roles for over 10 years. Most recently, she has found a home in hospitality and has enjoyed working for Xanterra Travel Collection as an HR Manager in Yellowstone National Park. Today, she leads the Front Office operations at The Chateau Hotel and Conference Center here in Bloomington-Normal and provides HR consulting services. Ready to take her HR career to the next level, Roxanne is currently studying for her SPHR while completing her master's degree in Entertainment Business at Full Sail University.


Social Media Director - Rachel Maggio

Rachel is an HR Generalist at Heartland Bank and Trust Company, bringing diverse experience in key HR functions, including Recruiting, Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations, Engagement, and Benefits. A proud two-time graduate of Illinois State University, she earned her bachelor’s degree in human resources management with a minor in psychology in 2021, followed by her MBA and a certificate in Organizational Leadership in 2023. Since 2021, Rachel has been an active member of BNHRC. Previously, she has held the Director of Programming. Beyond her professional career, she is passionate about giving back to her community and enjoys photography, traveling, learning, and staying active through fitness.


Technology Director - Beth Schroeder

Beth currently serves as an Analyst in Human Resources at Heartland Community College, where she is responsible for employee benefits and supports a range of HR initiatives. Previously, she worked in Human Resources at Lifelong Access and at Toys “R” Us, serving as HR Department Supervisor during her final year and a half with the company. Beth earned a bachelor’s degree from Illinois State University in 2009. She has held multiple leadership roles with BNHRC, including Board Member At Large, Director of Programming, Director of the SHRM Foundation, Director of Diversity, President, and Past President, and remains active on several workplace and community boards.


Board Member-At-Large - Kerry Keller

Kerry is a Talent Strategy Analyst at State Farm where she leads work for the technology that supports the enterprise talent and succession processes.  Kerry began working at State Farm in 2012 with prior experience at Carle BroMenn Medical Center in Human Resources.  Kerry is an Illinois State University alum (Go Redbirds!), having received both her Master of Business Administration and bachelor’s degrees from ISU.  She earned the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification in 2009 and the SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification in 2015.  Kerry has been a member of BNHRC since 2008 and began serving on the BNHRC Board in 2012.  She has held several roles on the Board including Membership, Secretary, President-Elect, President, Past-President, Social Media and Certification.
