The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) in Alexandria, VA
has awarded the Superior Merit Chapter designation to the Bloomington-
Normal Human Resource Council (BNHRC) for its scope of work in
perpetuating and supporting the mission of the organization in 2009.
SHRM is the world’s largest association devoted to human resource
management. The Society serves the needs of HR professionals and
advances the interests of the HR profession. Founded in 1948, SHRM has
